About the Author

Rosalind Kerven has written and edited several highly acclaimed collections of myths and legends from all over the world. Her collections include: Earth Magic, Sky Magic (Native American), The Rain Forest Storybook, In the Court of the Jade Emperor (Chinese), and Enchanted Kingdoms (Celtic). She has also written Aladdin and Other Tales from the Arabian Nights in the Eyewitness Classics series. Tudor Humphries trained in London as a theater costume and set designer. On graduation in 1974, he chose to concentrate on children's book illustration, landscape, and wildlife painting. His book Tiger, written by Judy Allen, was awarded the Washington State Children's Book Award for the most outstanding children's picture book published in America in 1995.
