The Cowboy Frog is a bi-lingual story featuring Australian Standard English and the Walmajarri language from the East Kimberley of Western Australia. The Cowboy Frog won an Australian achievement award in the Multicultural Book Competition in 2001.

About the Author

Hylton Laurel is from Millijidee, a tiny and remote community in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. Hylton first wrote and illustrated The Cowboy Frog when he was only nine years old. He has a keen interest in hunting and fishing,
