About the Author

Susan J. Armstrong is Professor of Philosophy and Women’s Studies at Humboldt State University. She received her Ph.D. degree in Philosophy from Bryn Mawr College. She has published articles in Environmental Ethics, The Journal of Wildlife Diseases, The Trumpeter, and Process Studies.Richard G. Botzler is Professor of Wildlife at Humboldt State University and the editor for the Journal of Wildlife Diseases. He served as a Fulbright Fellow to the Federal Republic of Germany in 1981-1982. He was selected as Outstanding Professor for the 20-campus California State University for 1992.
