this book is ful of surprises and also water filled eyes as well. As Zoey starts to learn the real truth about the people close to her even people you 'd never expect, fill you with suspense and excitment. If you read this book you'll never put it down cause each sentence has more and more suspence to keep you reading more and more. Zoey loses someone but finds someone closes to her that she might have never lost. She figures out that "light doesnt always bring good and darkness dosent always bring bad"(quote from house of night) well she start to trust the one person she never trusted and listen to her gut through the tuff times.......well read the book and find out

This was so good. I couldn't put it down. I can't wait to read the other books in the series. It's dramatic but the emotions in the book are oddly realistic.

In this sequel to Marked, Zoey Redbird is finally fitting in at The House of Night. Despite her odd Mark and abilities that are more like a full vampire then a fledgling, she has made some friends. She is now going to be the leader of the Dark Daughters, an elite group of fledgling vamps, and she even has a boyfriend... or possibly two.

Then some teens are killed in the local town and the evidence seems to be pointing to The House of Night. But when the mysterious killer goes after her ex-boyfriend Zoey decides that she needs to step in and try to find the murderer.

If you want to read this entertaining series I recommend starting with the first book, Marked. I like this series, even though some of the characters are a bit shallow. The writing is very good and interesting, it flows nicely making this book a quick and effortless read.
