I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to have a good laugh. It reminds you of when you were a child and this book entertains you the whole time. I enjoyed this book and I hope others do too.

At age 7, Bryce met Julianna. For years now she has loved him, meanwhile he can't stand her. She wants to be friends (and maybe more), he just wants her to GO AWAY! Come 8th grade, as Bryce's attempts to chase her off finally seem to be working, he starts to wonder if maybe she isn't that bad-maybe her even likes her a bit. But at this point Julianna's had it with his attitude and trying so hard to get him to like her- maybe she's just going to walk away.

I only found this book mildly entertaining. I really didn't think much of Bryce, and I found his behavior very childish most of the time (more so than seemed realistic for his age.) Julianna was a Mary Sue, the kind of perfect (yet out-there) girl that every tween girl thinks is cool and wonderful and wants to be. Yet she felt really flat and personality-less, like she was just a cardboard template for tween girls to put themselves into so they can imagine being her. (Face it, this book is not meant to be sold to guys!)

The concept is sound, and the writing is alright for teen chick-lit. It's just the lack of any interesting characters that made it frustrating. Every character in the book is a huge cliche.

The book Flipped is full of happiness, sadness, drama, comedy, and romance all in one! This book is definitely a book you won't be able to put down once you start reading it.
This book is very well-written, in a way that not very many books have. The author, Wendelin Van Draanen, used writing that shows you a view from both of the main character's perspective. Which makes this book much more exciting and easy to understand.
Flipped is about two young people who finds their "true love" in the most unusual way. It is about a young girl named Julianna and a young boy named Bryce. Julianna has a new neighbor who just moved in. Bryce is her new neighbor, whom she starts to like. Bryce has been her crush for many years now ever since she met him. But her feelings for him has been going on and off. Now Bryce on the other hand, thinks Julianna is annoying and weird, and starts to shun her. But Bryce's opinion off Julianna is also on and off.
I recommend this book to any age group since I think it would be very entertaining to anyone. Both boys and girls, both adults and children. There are many extreme cliff-hangers that makes you want to keep reading more and more.
Flipped is honestly the best book I have ever read. The title "Flipped" is not an exaggeration. It is literally FLIPPED!
