If you loved the Lord of the Rings, you MUST read this book. If you hated the Lord of the Rings, you must read this book. It follows the Ballantine editions of the Lord of the Rings from a sixty's point of view. Poor Frito must follow the plans of Goodgulf the grey to take the magic ring (which turns the finger green and causes constipation) past the nine Nozdruls to destroy it and save everyone. He's aided by Spam, Pepsi, Stomper, Gimlet, and Legolamb. I especially like Tim Benzidrino, but what can I say?

If you have a good grasp of the American culture and a somewhat questionable sense of humor, you'll enjoy most of this book. Of course the rest of it will offend you to some extent, but it is one heck of a read. Best ever on a 345hp supercharged Smith-Corona typewriter!

Loved it the first time. Loved it the tenth time. Hmmm...Where did I put that thing.

Seriously fun.
