About the Author

He has been involved in numerous botanical and plant-hunting expeditions around the world, and frequently lectures to botanical, photographic, and travel societies. Linden Hawthorne is a professional horticulturist, writer, and editor of a number of horticultural reference works, including The New RHS Dictionary of Gardening.
