This book was excellent in my eyes. I am an adoptee and it hit the nail on the head precisely for me. In fact it finally gave answers to feelings and emotions that I have struggled with my whole life. Shedding light into those areas with knowledge as to where they come from has helped me to finally begin the healing and understanding myself. Growing up I felt somewhat isolated and an outsider in my adoptive family at times. Other people told me I was wrong to feel that way. This book finally told me that this is okay and normal for my situation. It is a book that I recommed to all adoptees and thier families to read. My biological brother read it too and he too indentifies with it as well.
