About the Author

Joan Norton, a licensed psychotherapist with 25 years of experience helping women, founded the Los Angeles Mary Magdalene Circle. The author of The Mary Magdalene Within and a contributor to Secrets of Mary Magdalene, she lives in California.

Roman Catholic scholar Margaret Starbirds extensive study of history, symbolism, medieval art, mythology, psychology, and the Bible uncovers new and compelling evidence that Jesus Christ was married to Mary Magdalen. Starbirds investigation of this suppressed history calls for a restoration of the feminine principle to its intended place in the canon of Christianity.

A great book for group leaders, this book gives you the necessary path to study, understand and appreciate the Sacred feminine as Mary Magdalene might have shown us. Both authors are dynamic and powerful spiritual feminists, and their ideas and methods have encouraged me to once again search out ways to incorporate the Sacred Feminine into my life.
