Born in the heart of Europe during World War I, the Dada movement was one of the most significant movements of the historical avant-garde. Displaying a skepticism about accepted values and artistic practices of the 1940s, artists questioned the surreal and intangible. This dynamic edition is the examination of forty such artists in seven cities where Dada emerged. There are 550 illustrations shown, 400 in full color.
