Describe your book.
Not Quite a Genius is my first book. It’s the culmination of a decade of doing comedy in New York City, first as the artistic director of the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre and then as a writer at Funny or Die. I live in Los Angeles now, but don’t let that dissuade you —100% of this book was written in New York City. Just so you know. In case where a book was written matters to you. Some people are particular like that — I know I am. I only listen to music from the Pacific Northwest, I only drink wine from Argentina, and I only kiss women from Lafayette, California, because that’s where my wife Miranda is from.
