This Just In — O.J. Cancelled!

Following all the controversy over the O.J. book If I Did It, News Corp. has announced that it is cancelling both the book and the TV special that was to be hosted by publisher Judith Regan. Rupert Murdoch issued a statement:

I and senior management agree with the American public that this was an ill-considered project....We are sorry for any pain that this has caused the families of Ron Goldman and Nicole Brown Simpson.

In a statement issued moments later by his publicist, Satan responded:

This might get a couple of people off the hook. However, we still have brimstone suites reserved for anyone who authorized the publication, as well as people who preordered the book. They'll all have to do some serious charity work to get out of this one.

Unfortunate that once more the court of Public Opinion has weighed in and found a black man guiltey. Even after he was aquitted in a proper trial. Why can't the man say his peace and be heard?

Wait, are you trying to tell me Rupert Murdoch and Satan are separate individuals?

Mr. Kline, OJ can, and has, said his piece, whatever it is. All one needs to do is to buy his book and read it.
