Last Saturday we were fortunate enough to have Patton Oswalt visit our flagship store on Burnside. Oswalt is the author of Zombie Spaceship Wasteland, an inventive account of the evolution of his wildly insightful worldview, sure to indulge his legion of fans and lure many new admirers to his very entertaining wasteland.
A highly entertaining comedian and talented actor, we were thrilled to welcome him to the store, and, as you might imagine, hilarity ensued, exacerbated by large, fake hams.
And now, we'd like to introduce some hilarity of our own — Caption Contest! We can't promise fabulous prizes or international acclaim such as the sort that Mr. Patton likely enjoys, but we can promise that your caption will be published!! Right here on the Powells.com blog. So there will at least be local acclaim.
Patton Oswalt is a funny guy, at least that's what they tell us. And there is some documented proof of that floating around out there. The photos below are from his visit to our store, and we're betting he was being funny there, too. Sadly, there was no audio. So, it's up to us. Enter your best captions in the comment section below, and please include which picture your caption is for. Again, best captions will be published right here for buckets of local acclaim.
