About the Author
David Parkinson is a film reviewer for the Radio Times and the Oxford Times, a contributing editor on Empire and writes the 'Ask Parky' column for the Guardian Film website. He has written and edited a number of books, including A History of Film, The Young Oxford Book of Cinema and The Rough Guide to Film Musicals.
