A unique record of Britainand#8217;s aviation scene in 1931-39, the photographs were taken by E. J. Riding who spent his life in aviation. The aircraft types photographed by Riding ranged from the Tiger Moth to RAF fighters, from one-off ultra-lights to airliners, the whole giving a cross-section of flying in Britain up to the outbreak of World War 2.
A beautifully illustrated insight into the golden pre-war age of British flying caught by the cameras of amateur enthusiasts.
