Review
Grade A. Aftershock is crime fiction at it best built around a solid cast of characters, with an intriguing mythology. Vachss covers many of his classic themes yet in a way that seems to have invigorated his writing, allowing him to explore these themes in new and fascinating ways. - The Guilded Earlobe
""...[Dell] could give Dirty Harry a run for his money."" - Kirkus Reviews
""...readers will stick with the story, and the series, because the steadfast, relentless Dell, with his uncompromising morality, commands attention."" - Publishers Weekly
""Razor-edged and compulsively readable..."" - Library Journal
""As in all his works, Vachss explores the horrific intersection of victims and victimizers, evil and avengers. The setting has moved from urban to small town, but the eternal conflict is as it ever was. As always, Vachss is disquieting but engrossing."" - Booklist
