This volume collects some examples of recent research in agricultural water management. Topics addressed in the eight presented papers (and one commentary) include modeling tools to support water management decision-making under climate change conditions, evapotranspiration estimates and water stress indicators for irrigation scheduling in woody plants, agricultural water management and biodiversity conservation inside the North African oasis, water use in Chilean agriculture, deficit irrigation as a tool for manipulating flowering date in loquat, developing a classification system of water entitlements for sustainable water management in Australia's Murray- Darling Basin, and the effect of soil texture on water relationship and radiation use efficiency of six cultivated species.
