About the Author
Dr. Elmer Cooper is a professor emeritus of the University of Maryland. He taught in public schools for over 17 years, including grades 8 through 12 and adults. Dr. Cooper served as State Supervisor of Agriculture/Agribusiness and Renewable Natural Resources in Maryland for four years. He was a teacher and educator at Virginia Tech and the University of Maryland for 12 years, and many outstanding teachers in the field have benefited from his guidance.L. DeVere Burton is the Director of Research for Idaho State Division of Vocation Education. He is an Adult Consultant to Nominating Committee, National FFA Organization, and was recognized by Who's Who In Science And Engineering; and Who's Who In America. Burton served as Past State President, IVATA and Past National President, NASAE, and has contributed to The Agricultural Education Magazine.
