This is a very good book for anyone wondering how to make sure their family pets are provided for in case of the owner's death. At a time when the pet industry is booming at all-time sales highs, there is little thought being given to the animals who are part of the family structure.
The author walks the reader through trusts catered for pets, while also providing the benefits of pet charity contributions (tax-deductible). We all think we will live forever, but experience shows that when most folks depart this life, they believe a relative or friend will take care of the orphaned pets. Since my pets came from rescue foundations where such "trusted" relatives and friends simply dropped off the pets, it's a good idea to be prepared. Animals can't pick up a phone and call for help.
