About the Author
Sharada Dwivedi is the author and publisher of numerous books about her native India. Her interest in folk medicine stems from personal memories of home remedies used in her family for many generations. She lives in Mumbai, India.
Shalini Devi Holkar is an American by birth and an Indian princess by marriage. She has written for many periodicals and founded the Women Weave International Fund to promote economic development for women in India, to which all of her proceeds from this book will be donated. She lives in Mumbai, India.
