About the Author
Wendy Conklin spends much of her time working as a freelance author and editor. She has her M.A. in gifted education and has worked as a curriculum coordinator and teacher for The Center for Talent Development at Northwestern University. During her years in the classroom, she taught both elementary and middle school students and presently teaches online courses for gifted children. She has also written Mayas, Aztecs, Incas for Scholastic.
