About the Author
Clare Maxwell-Hudson is the author of The Complete Book of Massage (1988). She has traveled on five continents, learning massage techniques and collecting recipes for traditional beauty treatments. An expert in the therapeutic benefits of massage, she teaches massage in hospitals throughout the United Kingdom and is a lecturer at the Royal College of Nursing, a governor of the Royal Hospital in London, and director of the Institute of Health Studies. She also directs the Clare Maxwell-Hudson School of Massage as well as her own company, a manufacturer of natural skin-care products based on her research into essential oils.
