Synopses & Reviews
First there was Locker Room Nudes, which took you behind closed doors to see the hottest rugby players in the buff. Now, here's Backstage Pass, which literally takes you behind the scenes to see Broadway's sexiest men bare it all. In stunning black-and-white photography, here are seventy stage heroes, with whom thousands of theatergoers fall in love every night. But gone are the costumes and sets; nothing stands between you and these gorgeous idols. These guys include performers from the hottest shows, including Chicago, Cabaret, The Color Purple, Wicked, and The Producers, You'll spy them dropping their robes, caught in the dressing room, and warming up au naturel. All the photographs retain a playful innocence. It's like modern burlesque-plenty of excitement but nothing hardcore. There's fun here for everyone. If you're still shy, don't be; buying this book benefits a great cause. A portion of the proceeds benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, which is the nation's leading industry-based, not-for-profit AIDS fund-raising and grant-making organization.
