Synopsis
Kathryn Tucker Windham has been telling stories on the storytelling festival circuit as long as there has been such a circuit. Her Southern stories, told in her rich Alabama accent, are a comfort to the ear and the heart. These two recordings will be followed by three more later this year.

So the title story here, and the other selections, reflect her appreciation for traditional ways, but not quite as much as they beguile the listener with that most enchanting of Southern ways, a keen sense of humor.
