Synopses & Reviews
Move over cows, make room sheep - there's a handsome new beast waiting in the wings...Trotting into the spotlight is a bevy of elegant equine beauties.
Beautiful Horses showcases 40 of the world's most remarkable breeds, from the traditional Shetland to the rare Norwegian Fjord, the diminuitive Miniature to the majestic Canadian Belgium. Stylishly shot against a studio background, each prize-winning thoroughbred has been primped and preened for its moment in front of the camera. Each photograph is accompanied by a description of the breed, covering its origin, physical attributes, and related breeds. There's also an illuminating introduction exploring the colorful history of the horse, and reportage photography offering a behind-the-scenes gimpse of the stars as they prepare for the show.
