Terry Jones is perhaps best known as a scriptwriter and member of the Monty Python team. He is a highly successful performer, director and writer for film, radio and television. His books for children have been enormously popular, including Fairy Tales and Fantastic Stories, The Knight and the Squire, and The Lady and the Squire. Nanette Newman has received considerable acclaim for her long and varied acting career in films and on television. She has been equally successful as an author of over thirty titles, particularly with her cookery books and many books for children. These include Ben's Book and My Granny. Michael Foreman's artwork has earned him widespread recognition as one of the world's leading illustrators. He has created a vast range of children's books, and has collaborated with Terry Jones on all of his books for children. He also writes and illustrates his own books, including War Boy and War Game, winners respectively of the Kate Greenaway Medal and the Smarties Book Prize.
