Ein weitrer Einwand k nnte dem Schreibgebrauch, worin die gedruckten Ausgaben griechischer d104e den Handschriften folgen, entnommen werden. Warum werden die betr. Silben durch das Graviszeichen von den schlechtweg tonlosen unterschieden? Nun das Graviszeichen ist ja das allgemeine Zeichen der Barytonese und k nnte aufjeder Silbe stehen, die weder Akut noch Zirkumflex hat, und kommt in ltern Handschriften thats chlich so vor. Es bloss da zu setzen, wo die Barytonese an Stelle der Oxytonese getreten war, konnte praktisch scheinen, um eben an die Normalbetonung des betr. Wortes zu erinnern. Vielleicht liegt aber noch etwas mehr zu Grunde.
