Bob Gaines, an AMGA (American Mountain Guides Association) Certified Rock Guide, is the coauthor of Climbing Anchors and Rock Climbing Tahquitz and Suicide Rocks (both FalconGuides), and is the owner/director of Vertical Adventures Climbing School, based at Joshua Tree National Park, California.
