About the Author
Tom Warhol is a naturalist, writer, and photographer living in Vermont. He holds a master of science degree in forestry from the University of Massachusetts, and he has worked as a conservation professional for eight years, with the Massachusetts Riverways Program, The Nature Conservancy, and The American Chestnut Foundation, and the New England Wild Flower Society. He is also the author of several books, including Biomes of Earth, a six-volume series, and three volumes in the Animalways series--Eagles, Hawks, and Owls.
