Bruce Ely, an award-winning photojournalist for the Oregonian, has covered the Trail Blazers for the past 10 seasons and serves as the book's photo editor. Bill Walton, the center of attention of the 1977 NBA World Champions, wrote the book's "Trail Blazing" foreword in quintessential Walton style.
