Synopses & Reviews
The Boston Theater Marathon is the winner of a 2000 Elliot Norton Award and a Dramatists' Guild Citation for its work in forging relationships between playwrights and theater companies all over New England. Now an annual tradition in Boston, the BTM utilizes hundreds of actors and dozens of directors to sponsor 50 ten-minute plays in 10 hours (that's five plays an hour), each one supported by a different New England theater company.
Each year, The Boston Theater Marathon stages 50 ten-minute plays in 10 hours, each by a different theater company in the region. This book collects 47 short plays from the 12th year of the annual event on May 17, 2010. Each play includes notes on the playwright and on the original production, director, and cast.
