About the Author
Author Shannon Castle Gillette received her bachelor of arts in American studies from the University of Texas at Dallas. Her family has had ties to Montague County for over 100 years. Gillette has selected photographs for this publication from the extensive archives of the Tales 'N' Trails Museum and the Montague County Historical Commission, as well as several private collections that were generously loaned by local families.
