Wonderful book. Ignore anyone who rates this poorly...there's no shame in not understanding sensory integration work; i.e the effect of movement on brain development, but to slander it when too lazy to really research it is pretty lame. Anyway, the activities are simple, given fun names years ago to appeal to children and yet they work in very profound ways for all. There are copious articles, and many studies in both educational and the neuro sciences fields to back up this work at this point. It's also part of a greater body of Educational Kinesiology work, but enjoy the book as is and call an instructor in your area if you or your child need some assistance in better integration for easier living.
