About the Author
Rodney Leeds is an educator who has had 25 years' experience is growing bulbs, both in the garden and the greenhouse. His knowledge has developed through practical involvement in bulb cultivation, and he has built a large and diverse collection of mainly hardy bulbs. He has also traveled to Europe and North America to see bulbs growing in the wild. An active member of the Alpine Garden Society, he regularly exhibits bulbs at its national shows, and he lectures to horticultural societies. Linden Hawthorne is a professional horticulturist, writer, and editor of a number of horticultural reference works, including The New RHS Dictionary of Gardening.
