About the Author
Hirschmann has worked 20 years as a professional outdoor and natural history photographer.Lowell Thomas Jr. has taken part in some twenty expeditions. He is a mountaineer, a bush and glacier pilot, author, motion picture producer, and active in political affairs.Jay M. Hammond, PhD, received his doctoral degree from Saint Louis University. He is currently assistant professor of historical theology at Quincy University where he serves as the Director of the Center for Franciscan Thought.
