About the Author
Fran Drescher was a co-creator, executive producer, writer, director, and star of the Emmy-winning hit series The Nanny. The New York Times bestselling author of Enter Whining, she has starred in such films as The Beautician and the Beast, Doctor Detroit, and Cadillac Man. She had featured roles in many other films, including This is Spinal Tap, Ragtime, Saturday Night Fever, and Jack. Ms. Drescher lives by the beach and has been cancer-free for the past two years. A Patient Advocate on the External Advisory Board for the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Ms. Drescher is also the 2002 recipient of the Public Service Award from the Gynecologic Cancer Foundation.
