Sharon Curry is seeking a cause she could believe in, when she spots a little gray puppy that changes her life forever.
Synopsis
When Jan goes along with her husband Rob's plan to relocate their family to the French countryside to protect their young children from the growing threat of drugs and violence in America, she is ill-prepared for what they encounter: a three-hundred-year-old dilapidated farmhouse without plumbing, heat or electricity. Before long, Jan's new life is also without a husband as Rob leaves, saying he must attend to business back in America. Rob's visits to France become fewer until he finally reveals he is in love with another woman. Heartbroken but determined, Jan and the children vote to stay in France. Humor and lessons in life and love infuse this luminous true story of a castoff family who build an adventurous, new life.
