Synopses & Reviews
Synopsis
This revised, updated edition of the popular 1996 monograph encompasses new developments in a rapidly evolving technology. Replacing the term 'CCD array' with 'solid state array' throughout the text reflects a broader scope allowing for greater flexibility in sensor type (e.g. CCD, CID, and CMOS). Many chapters have been rewritten, including expanded sections on antibloom drain, dark current reduction, spectral responsivity, dynamic range, and signal-to-noise ratio, among others.
