City Slang: The Street Comes to the Gallery highlights the best of contemporary urban art as it is launched from the heart of the street into the space of one of Rome s leading galleries. The Dorothy Circus Gallery has been opening its doors to both new and established talent in the art world since 2007 and now this visionary space explores the fascinating artistic language of the streets. Slang as a direct, sharp, and colourful language becomes a powerful and kaleidoscopic cocktail that connects some of the most renowned artists from around the world in one argot free from formal ties. These artists include Koralie, SupaKitch, TvBoy, JBRock, Diamond, Mr. Wanyone, Sten, Lex and Lucamaleonte. Together with the insightful writing of Micol Di Veroli, this book beautifully documents the rainbow of stencils, posters, and graffiti that made up this extraordinary exhibition."
