About the Author
Alena Hennessy is an Asheville, NC-based artist, teacher, and lifestyle coach. She has designed and created custom art for a number of businesses, including: ABC Studios, Target, Urban Outfitters, Galison/Mudpuppy Stationery, Papyrus, Monique Lhuillier, and Lark and Loon. Her prints and licensed products can be found throughout the US and abroad. She has exhibited her paintings in galleries in major cities throughout the United States and has received press from publications including Dwell, the Washington Post, Redbook, and Victoria. Alena has developed a high-profile teaching career, working through galleries and the popular Squam and Makerie retreats. Her first book was Cultivating Your Creative Life: Exercises, Activities, and Inspiration for Finding Balance, Beauty, and Success as an Artist (Quarry).
