Synopsis
Assessment is widely recognised to be an integral part of learning for students at all levels, though it is frequently the bane of their teachers' or lecturers' lives. Evolving information communication technology offers ways of reducing the burden of assessment work and giving feedback without losing the developmental benefits for students of assessment. This book draws on the expertise of practitioners in the UK and internationally to share good practice and explore new ways of using appropriate technologies in this field. It provides both a strategic overview and pragmatic proposals for the implementation of CAAS. Readership: Facility developers, teachers and administrators in higher education.
