Synopsis
A product of the treacherous streets of New York City and the scorching memories of a tragic war, decorated Vietnam veteran Victor Clark was sentenced to life for a crime he claims he didn't commit. He is resigned to the daily hell of prison until fate intervenes, changing his life forever.
When attractive, well-educated but lonely Denise Beck receives a poignant, intelligently written letter in response to a personal ad she placed, she is shocked by the return address on the envelope -- Eastern New York Correctional Facility. Drawn to the charismatic stranger, Denise begins corresponding with him and eventually they meet. Gradually, Denise's love and belief in him restores Victor's hope and renews his faith in humanity. Together, they fight for Victor's parole and plan a future devoted to bettering the human condition.
