About the Author
Trip Payne worked for several puzzle magazines before embarking on a freelance puzzlemaking career. His puzzles have appeared in many national publications and he has had two "15 minutes of fame" so far: as the third contestant ever to appear on the US version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire and as one of the crossword solvers profiled in the documentary Wordplay. Payne has also worked on the game shows Million Dollar Password and Scrabble Showdown and is a three-time champion of the American Crossword Puzzle Tournament. He lives in West Hollywood, CA.
