About the Author
Susan Rich is a poet, teacher, and journalist. Her books include THE ALCHEMIST'S KITCHEN (White Pine Press, 2010), CURES INCLUDE TRAVEL (White Pine Press, 2006), and THE CARTOGRAPHER'S TONGUE (White Pine Press, 2000). She has received awards from PEN USA, The Times Literary Supplement, and Peace Corps Writers. Recent poems have appeared in the Antioch Review, Harvard Review, Poetry International and TriQuarterly. She makes her home in Seattle, Washington, where she teaches English and Film Studies at Highline Community College.
