About the Author
Delilah Winder left a career as a business analyst to open her one-woman food stand in Philadelphias historic Reading Terminal Market. Today, she employs more than 60 people who work in six Delilahs Southern Cuisine stands. In 2000, she opened Bluezette, a Latin, Caribbean, and soul food restaurant in Philadelphias Old City district. Delilahs food has received numerous accolades, including Best Mac and Cheese by Oprah Winfrey, 100 Favorite Foods by Saveur Magazine, and Best of Philly. Delilahs cooking has been featured on many national television food shows, including Food Networks The Best of Southern Cuisine, and CBSs Chef On A Shoestring.
