Synopsis
A murdered teenager and a citywide scandal. Portland Homicide Detective John Dudek investigates the death of a seventeen-year-old boy and becomes increasingly disturbed by what he learns about the victim. So much so that Dudek's troubled mind becomes as filled with fantasies about derby girls and the lyrics of classic grunge songs as it does with the horrors and violence that are slowly drowning him. DOGS IN THE DISTANCE is the first in the John Dudek series of crime novels that also includes FERAL BEASTS and KAIJU.
