Synopses & Reviews
Dr. William Sears has long been seen, along with Dr. Spock and Penelope Leach, as one of the leading pediatricians in the book business. Now all of the kids he helped as babies are older, and 15% of them (or about 9 million children, per USA Today 10/9/2002) are overweight. An even greater number are out of shape or unhappy about their physical appearance.
That's exactally why Dr. Sears has designed the L.E.A.N. PROGRAM FOR KIDS. This is the first publication by a brand name in the field of childcare that is offering a concrete program for overcoming the greatest health risks to school aged children: being overweight, underfit, and unhappy.
Written for parents to read by themselves or share with their children, L.E.A.N. PROGRAM FOR KIDS arms today's families with everything they need to overcome the dire statistics and lead a happy, healthy life.
