I actually found this book on a recent trip to NY and the Strand Bookstore. Not knowing it was the third in the series, I dove in and discovered a new author to LOVE!! I thought it had just the right amount of witty dialogue and sensuality, while tackling social issues in an intriguing way. The Duke lets others gossip about his "bad reputation" and uses it as a cover for righting some of the wrongs of colonial times. I am definitely going to read the others in this series and mark Ashe as an author to look for. Recommended By Jennifer V., Powells.com
