About the Author
Stacy Toth is a working mother who brings home the bacon and
Matthew McCarry is the culinary genius and stay-at-home-dad that cooks it up. Inspired by the luminaries of the Paleolithic lifestyle (Robb Wolf and Dr. Loren Cordain), they cleaned out the pantry and lost over 200 pounds together in a little over one year. Now active and playful, with enough energy to climb trees, play chase, and lift multiple children above their heads, theyre enjoying every moment they have as a family.
Their 3 boys suffered from typical Neolithic diseases, but with a change in diet and lifestyle Stacy and Matt saw the boys heal their bodies of asthmatic, obesity, eczema, allergies, and even severe attention disorders. Now the picture of perfect health (physical and social), their boys inspired the Paleo Parents website (PaleoParents.com) and the creation of this book.
Matt and Stacy find that being able to offer their children an opportunity to grow-up healthy and strong, the way nature intended, is the most powerful thing about eating real food. They hope they can offer you that opportunity with this book. Along with Matt and Stacy, scientists, doctors, and other families are seeing encouraging results when they fuel their children with a diet rich in natural, whole foods:
- Symptoms of autism and attention disorders disappear or fade away significantly
- Type 2 diabetes is time and again reversed because blood sugar is able to regulated
- Asthma, seasonal and pet allergies as well as other inflammatory diseases, like Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis, are often able to be managed without medication—or vanish entirely.
