About the Author
María del Carmen Ariet García is the world's leading researcher on the life and works of Che Guevara. She led the investigation that ultimately succeeded in finding Che Guevara's remains, in Bolivia in 1997. She is director of the Che Guevara Studies Center in Havana, Cuba.
